In just a few days after the release of Galaxy Note 5, the DisplayMate guys informed that the new phablet boasts of the best screen ever tested in a smartphone. The following release of the Samsung’s flagships occurred in 6 month (a couple days ago), bringing forward Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Well, 2016 Samsung flagships were also ranked best by the DisplayMate guys. Their report states that Galaxy S7’s display is even superior in quality to the screen of last year’s Galaxy Note 5.
Although the screens are almost identical, the newcomer’s display shows better results in terms of outdoor visibility. According to DisplayMate’s research, Galaxy S7 boasts of the brightest display ever tested by the team.
The experts also highlighted the Auto Brightness elaboration of the new-gen smartphones, noting that Galaxy S7 has the best function of automatic display brightness adjustment.
The model with bent edges showed similar results. Understandably, both devices’ screens cannot be level with each other. Firstly, Galaxy S7 Edge’s display has those curved edges. Secondly, its diagonal is remarkably larger.
